dc.description.abstract | Three dimensional (3D), porous scaffolds with high biocompatibility and interconnective structure were fabricated from human fat tissues. Primary human preadipocytes were isolated and seeded within human fat (HF) scaffolds. In the in vitro study, cells attached to HF scaffolds showed good spreading and distribution. For the in vivo studies, preadipocyte-seeded and unseeded scaffolds were transplanted into nude mice. Lipid accumulation and new vessels were clearly observed in both grafts eight weeks after transplantation. Also, RT-PCR analysis confirmed adipogenic differentiation in the HF scaffolds. | - |
