A water supply system needs to be evaluated to meet uncertain water demand and preserve water sustainability. Most of annual rainfall events occurs during summer in South Korea and thus it is hard to develop an efficient water supply plan throughout a year. To cope with future change in water demands, accurate evaluation of various supply schemes are required to determine a most feasible plan. In this paper, a water supply system model was developed for the Geum River basin, South Korea and several long term water supply scenarios were evaluated for sustainable water supply. Object-oriented system dynamics model environment allows the decision maker to develop a model that can be understood easily by the stakeholder and non-modeler. Two different scenarios were applied for the Geum River basin to investigate long-term water availability. The results can be useful for decision makers to make a long range plan and operate reservoirs within the basin.-
