dc.description.abstract | The reliability and the quality of electric power has long been the major concern for industrial consumers. Unexpected voltage sags and outages lead to the interruption of power and can cause equipment damage. An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system is responsible to take over load within a short interval of time incase of any disturbance on the utility side to ensure normal operation and avoid any interruption. This paper proposes a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply system with current regulated voltage source inverter for all loading and transient conditions. The main features of the proposed line-interactive UPS system are zero switching time and the regulated output current with low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). MATLAB is used to obtain simulation results. | - |
