dc.description.abstractWe studied the ferromagnetic domains and the presence of phase coexistence in a Y0.67Ca0.33MnO3 thin film with a combination of magnetic force microscopy and magnetization measurements. Our results show that the spin glass-like behavior, reported previously for this system, could be attributed to frustrated interfaces of the bubble-like ferromagnetic clusters embedded in a non-ferromagnetic matrix. We found temperature dependent changes of the magnetic domains at low temperatures, which suggest a non-static Mn3+/Mn4+ ratio. (C) 2013 AIP Publishing LLC.-
