dc.description.abstractThis paper introduces a magnet flux focusing design with spoke magnet array for the double-stator permanent magnet vernier machine, which has high torque feature at low speed for direct-drive systems. In the proposed machine, construction is analyzed to show the torque and power factor improvement. In addition, transient performances of both proposed machine and conventional double-stator surface permanent magnet vernier machine are simulated and compared using 2D finite element method.-
