dc.description.abstract | This study is to develop the game system enhancing attention or awareness for all-aged users including those who suffer from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The system could monitor user’s attention fluctuation by measuring autonomic activities such as PPG(photoplethymogram), GSR(Galvanic skin response), and SKT(skin temperature). For this purpose, the effect of vibro-tactile feedback was examined. It is found that vibro-tactile feedback is more effective for enhancing attention than cognitive one. The physiological model between terminal physiological response and attention was examined. With the result, the attention enhancing game system was developed. The game is expected as able to get user’s attention improvement by vibro-tactile feedback system controlled by the attention-monitored system. The game contents were specially designed in terms of classical subjective method of scoring attention deficit. The results showed that the developed game system could help to improve overall attention. | - |
