dc.description.abstractγ-C₂S is clinker has low CO₂ emission during the manufacturing process.It can react with CO₂ rapidly to form vaterite and high dense SiO₂ gel. Thus, blending γ-C₂S into cementitious materials, after CO₂ curing, the carbonation products can clog pores, and compressive strength can be improved. In this study, cement paste specimens containing 0%, 5%, 10%, 20%, and 40% γ-C₂S as binder replacement were prepared. After water curing for 28days followed by curing in a constant temperature chamber with 5% CO₂ for 28days. After the curing period, for investigating CO₂ fixing ability, CO₂ uptake was detected by using diferential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetry analysis(DSC-TG)-
