dc.description.abstractCollector is equipment that supply electrical energy to a subway train. Generally, there are collectors at top of an urban railway vehicle because of electrical wire. But some urban railway vehicles have collectors at bottom of the bogie to receive energy from the wire beside of a rail. This is a system that the collectors contact with a rail. For this reason, the device has a strong influence on safety of the vehicle. This study shows examination of a collector using simulation program. DAFUL is a software to analyze Multi Body Dynamic system. Dynamic model is composed of joints, springs, and contact. Motion function enables the model to move by simulation. After these process, examination of collector is possible. The simulation model would be useful to analyze similar system.-
