dc.description.abstractBased on the mathematical model of a novel two-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), a new model is established by using the voltage equation, the motion equation and the electromagnetic torque equation. Characteristics such as phase current, electromagnetic torque and rotating speed are simulated with external control circuit, and the results show that the novel two-phase model has much better steady performance than the conventional single-phase model.-
