dc.description.abstract | Hybrid Data Compression method is presented based on supercompact wavelets. This method significantly increases the multiresolution coverage area. By relaxing the coverage area constraint (Power of two problem size), high data compression is guaranteed in any situation. Several numerical tests substantiated the applicability of the method to practical problem including RLV(Reusable Lanuch Vehicle) - Turbopump simulation data compression. The data was compressed to 10% of original size from the original several tera-size data. | - |
