ToF 카메라 기반 손동작 인식을 이용한 뮤직 플레이어 제어

Abstract

The applications of computer vision techniques for daily lives are increasing rapidly. Gesture based user interface is getting more and more popular for multimedia device control. We developed a music player control system by recognizing hand gestures. A Time of Flight camera (ToF) is used to get the depth map of an image. The functions such as background separation, binarization, morphological operation, labeling, and finger counting are implemented to recognize hand gestures and to generate commands for a music player. Experiments show successful operations.
