dc.description.abstract | Analytical placement is one of popular placement algorithms. Analytical placement can use information on wirelength cost and density cost during placement. When we try placement using analytical placer, if two cells located closely, the two cells have simular density gradient. Therefore, placer moves these two cells in same direction and it can"t spread two cells. In this paper, we propose a new Wirelength Pertubation algorithm to avoid inefficient cell moving in previous case. By applying this algorithm in analytical placement we can reduce wirelength cost by 12%. | - |
