dc.description.abstract | The paper investigates an improved model reference adaptive system (MRAS) speed estimation method for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drives. Using the vector control method having id=0 in the drive system, the regulating model of the conventional MRAS scheme is improved. In addition, a sliding mode based MRAS estimator with an improved switching function is designed to achieve more accurate speed and rotor position estimation performance. Compared with the conventional method, the experimental results show the validity of the proposed method. | - |
