- Abstract
- There is a growing interest in comparing the CO2 emissions in buildings using different methods of construction and alternative materials. This paper suggests the methodology that analyse the features of CO2 emissions according to the apartment types. In system boundary of this study, the stage of construction, operation and disposal were included. The program designed by Visual Basic tool. For life cycle impact assessment (LCIA), three cases were considered; the single environmental impact for the CO2 emissions, alternative environmental construction materials, and the comparison of environmental impact categories including reduction factor of CO2 emissions.
