- Abstract
- 이 논문의 목적은 수많은 인터넷 파일공유 사이트에서 불법적으로 다운로드 되고 있는 디지털콘텐츠의 범람이 오프라인 콘텐츠시장을 위축시키고 있음을 실증적으로 보이는 데 있다. 구조화된 소비자설문조사 결과를 계량분석의 데이터로 이용하여 불법적으로 다운로드된 디지털콘텐츠가 구체적으로 극장관객수와 DVD시장 규모를 어느 정도 위축시키는가를 추정하였다. 실증분석결과, DVD시장이 극장보다 불법다운로드에 더 크게 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 불법다운로드된 영화로 인해 극장관객의 5.2%가 줄어들었고 DVD시장의 47.8%가 줄어든 것으로 나타났다.
