LED 조명램프 특성에 따른 디자인 방향에 관한 연구

Abstract

미래의 차세대 광원으로 각광받는 LED는 일반조명에서부터 산업전분야 까지 폭넓게 쓰여 지고 있다. LED는 저소비전력, 뛰어나 발광효율, 고 응답성 및 수명이 반영구적이라는 장점을 가지고 있다. 이에 따라 LED를 이용한 다양한 제품을 상용화 하려는 많은 노력을 기울이고 있는 가운데 공간에 대한 다양한 디자인 연출과 빛의 구현을 하는 조명램프의 가치는 점점 올라가고 있다 하지만 기존 백열전구와 형광램프 대체용으로 LED 조명램프 개발이 빠르게 진행되면서 여기에 따른 기존 램프와의 비교 어려움 등 을 나타내고 있다. LED를 통한 높은 광 출력과 배광의 효율성을 좋아지지만 기존의 조명기구에 광원만 교체하여 만든 일관적인 디자인 형태 구조방식에서 아직까지 벗어나지 못하고 있다. LED를 새로운 도구가 아닌 단순히 백열전구를 대체하는 광원으로만 접근하는 경향이 있어 디자인적 요소가 반드시 필요한 시점이다. 따라서 본 연구는 기존 조명램프와 LED 조명램프를 비교하여 각각의 구조적 해석과 디자인 특성을 분석하여 LED 조명램프 디자인 방향성과 개선안을 돌출시킴으로써 이를 바탕으로 새로운 LED 조명램프 디자인 방향을 제시하려 한다.

With the growing popularity of LED as the next generation light source or the light source of the future, its application is spreading from general lighting fixtures to the entire industry. The typical strengths of LED are low power consumption, excellent luminous efficiency, high response rate, and semi-permanent life, and there are many efforts to develop various products using these advantages of LED and also the value of lighting lamp which enables various designs and the presentations of light in a space is increasing. However, there are difficulties compared with existing lamps while the development of LED lighting lamps as the substitution of existing incandescent light bulbs and fluorescent lamps is progressed at a fast pace. The optical power and light distribution were greatly enhanced with LED, but the design has not made much progress from the uniform format that the only change that has been made simply seems to be the light source. There is a prevalent trend of approaching LED as the light source substituting the incandescent light bulb instead of a brand new tool that it needs certain developments in terms of design. This study compares existing lighting lamps and LED lamps by analyzing their structures and design characteristics to derive the direction of design and possible improvements for LED lamps, suggesting the new direction of design for LED lamps.
