dc.description.abstract | This paper proposes a multi-object optimal design process for double winding 2-phase Brushless DC motor(BLDC) to improve characteristics such as average torque, torque ripple, cogging torque and efficiency. A finite element method (FEM) was used for calculating the average torque by changing the structure of teeth shape in 2-phase BLDC. After FEM analysis, optimal design process to find optimal teeth shape is processed. In optimal process, the Kriging method based on Latin hypercube sampling (LHS) and a genetic algorithm (GA) are applied due to suitability to non-linear data. Using this optimal design process, an optimal teeth shape is obtained. The optimal model is increased efficiency with reduced cogging torque and torque ripple. | - |
