Abstract
This paper introduces the optimal design process to effectively increase the thrust and decrease the volume in electro-magnetic linear actuator for fatigue and durability test machine. Finite element method is used to dynamic response analysis the thrust, velocity and displacement, and optimal model results are compared with initial model results. In order to increase the trust and decrease the volume in electro-magnetic linear actuator for fatigue and durability test machine, adjust the inner and outer radius of electro-magnetic linear actuator stator yoke. In optimal design process, the sampling points are chosen by Latin Hypercube Sarnpling(LHS) and from the results, the approximation modeling is made by Radial Basis Function(RBF) and then the optimization results are obtained by Genetic Algorithm(GA). The optimization results are verified by using finite element analysis.
