dc.description.abstract | The 3D finite element method (FEM) is used to analyze the three Degree-of-freedom (DOF) motor. However, 3D FEM needs to a lot of time for analysis, due to large amount of CPU time. The double excited three DOF motor is designed in a laminated structure. Due to laminated structure, the 3 DOF motor is possible to analyze using magnetic equivalent circuit (MEC) which is very useful for analyzing motors. In this paper, new approach based on MEC is presented to analyze the double excited 3 DOF motor. And To verify the torque equation, the computation results are compared with 3D FEM results. | - |
