dc.description.abstract | This paper presents an optimization of the double sided axial flux penn anent magnet synchronous generator (AFPMSG) with coreless stator. A 2-D analytical model is used for the optimization of the double sided AFPMSG having concentrated winding. The micro genetic glgorithm (MGA) is employed for the minimization of voltage total harmonic distortion (VTHD) while maintaining the no load voltage constant. The results of the optimized model are compared with the initial model. The results show the reduction in the value of the VTHD. | - |
