dc.description.abstract | The demand for wireless technology in automation systems has been increasing due to low installation cost, easy placement, flexible extension and mobile device connectivity. ZigBee is the most suitable wireless network for building and home automation due to low-data rate and row energy consumption. The lighting system plays an important role in building automation and consumes an enormous amount of power. ZigBee network can be configured to reduce lighting energy consumption of useless area in the building. This paper proposes a way which effectively applies ZigBee network to the lighting control system for energy savings in the building, and realizes this system using ZigBee sensor & ZigBee actuator. | - |
