dc.description.abstract | We consider a cognitive radio network where many secondary users compete with each other for a primary spectrum. The design objective is to maximize the ergodic rate. We assume that there is no sensing error and each secondary transmitter knows the channel quality of the link between itself and its receiver. We propose a sensing and access scheme which is adopted in a fully distributed manner. The proposed scheme shows that the performance is so 200close to an optimum. And the performance is improved in a large network with much more secondary users. | - |
