dc.description.abstractIn this paper, we propose the linear histogram equalization using parity probability segmentation. Histogram Equalization is an effective method for image contrast enhancement. However, it has unwanted artifact and unnatural look because of over-enhancement in contrast. The experimental results show that the proposed method achieves contrast enhancement and preserving naturalness.-
