- Abstract
- Recently, ubiquitous environment is rapidly evolving as smart devices, fast and reliable network, and high-quality services are developing. To provide successful services based on a large volume of different types of information, information exchange and sharing among heterogeneous entities including humans in ubiquitous environment needs to be managed in an efficient and effective manner. To this end, this paper presents a formal model that can be used to describe information as objects. The model proposed in this paper can thereby be used to specify the structure and operations of ubiquitous convergence systems from an information objects’ point of view. Furthermore, a framework to implement ubiquitous convergence by means of information objects is also presented.
