dc.description.abstract | In this paper, we propose the skin color enhancement method. The proposed method is classified with the skin color detection and the maximum saturation extension method. The skin color detection is based on the HSV color space. It is useful for content-based storage and retrieval of MPEG-4 and -7 applications as well as multimedia data based. The maximum saturation extension method is to prevent de-saturation and over-saturation while saturation is processed. The proposed method is focused on a preference color processing in order to generate better image quality than the method focused on a uniform one for human vision. | - |
