- Abstract
- BACnet was designed to provide a single, uniform standard for building control systems. The ultimate goal of this standardization effort was interoperability. This paper presents a guide to specifying interoperable building automation and control systems using BACnet. This guide focuses on the specific issues related to the interconnection and interoperation of building automation systems installations and system level devices using BACnet.
