The quantum-mechanical effects on the polarization elastic electron-ion collisions are investigated in partially ionized dense hydrogen plasmas. The second-order eikonal method with the impact parameter analysis is applied to obtain the total eikonal phase and the differential eikonal cross-section as functions of the impact parameter, de Broglie wavelength, Debye length and collision energy. The results show that the quantum effects strongly suppress the eikonal phase as well as the eikonal cross-section, especially, for small impact parameters. In addition, the quantum effects are found to be decreased with increasing the collision energy.-
