21세기 초반 국내외 미술관 외관 디자인에 나타나는 특성에 관한 연구

Abstract

미 술 관 은 인 류 문 명 의 발 달 과 함 께 창 조 되 어 문 화 를 보존하고 향유하는 공간으로서 인간의 삶 가까이에서 인간 삶을 풍요롭게 하며 예술이라는 가치 있는 문명 올 소중히 여기고 보존하도록 돕는다. 이러한 미술관 건물이 현대에 들어서면서 하나의 예술적 가치를 지닌 예술작품으로 변화되어 과거 디자인사에서 교회건축이 중요한 위치를 차지한 것처럼 현대 디자인사에서 중요 한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 2 1 세기 초 반 미술관의 외관 디자인에 대한 분석은 매우 시기적 절하고 의미 있는 일이라고 할 수 있다. 또한 2 1 세기 초반 미술관에 대해 건축적 측면에서 보는 분석은 많 이 있지만 시각적 측면에서 보는 분석은 잘 이루어지 지 않 고 있 다 . 따 라 서 미 술 관 외 관 디 자 인 을 시 각 적 측면에서 분석하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구는 현대 미 술관 외관 디자인의 현대적 특성을 분석함으로써 현대 미술관 외관 디자인에 참고자료가 되고 향후 디자인사 를 다루고 이해하는데 도움을 주고자 하였다.

Art museum, created alongside the advancement of civilization, enriches lives of people as the arena where they preserve and enjoy in their culture. It also helps to cherish and maintain a valuable part of culture. As such art museum buildings themselves become works of art, each with unique artistic value, they hold great significance in the recent design history, much like church architecture did in the past. In light of this, the analysis of exterior design of early 21st century art museum would be deemed timely and meaningful. Also, although there are a considerable number of architectural analyses available of 21st century art museum, visual analytical works have seldomly been done. Therefore, visual analyses of exterior design of ar museum are much needed. Through an analysis in the modern characteristics of the exterior design of the contemporary art museum, this study intends to provide referential source to the modern art museum exterior design, as well as aiding in further treatment and understanding of the design history.
