- Abstract
- The purpose of this study were to describe and compare the selected electromyographical muscle activities of body during the Lady's Professional golfer's drive swing. Using surface electrode electromyography, we evaluated muscle activity in 4 female Professional golfers during a golf 1wood, swing. Surface electrodes were used to record the level of muscle activity in the Quadriceps Femoris, Tibialis Anterior, Gastrocnemius, Soleus muscles during a golf driver swing. These signals were compared with %RVC(Reference voluntary contraction) which was normalized by IEMG(Integrated EMG). we observed patterns of selected muscle activity throughout five phases of the golf swing. The results can be summarized as follows: LGCM, LSO, RSO had highly difference in take away phase, in forward swing phase, in acceleration phase & in early follow through phase, TA, LGCM had highly difference in late follow through phase. There is to muscle activity of the female pro-golf players and it show the muscle activity where the LGCM is high relative from the swing of the whole phase, These LGCM is to golf swing for important role to be a result, There is to comparison of the left & right side and the muscle activity where the muscles of the left are higher the right side than it shows.
