dc.description.abstract | This paper proposes the rotary magnetic position sensor (RMPS) which has the sinusoidally magnetized permanent magnet (PM) with a small number of poles. To make the sinusoidal magnetic flux density distribution from the PM, the magnetizing fixture is designed. And the magnetization process is analyzed using Preisach model coupled with 2D finite element method (FEM). Also the simulation result of the magnetization is compared with the experiment result. ©2006 IEEE. | - |
