dc.description.abstract | Flux switching permanent magnet machine (FSPMM) has been known to utilize the flux modulating principle. However, FSPMM has the structure which is difficult to achieve profitable vernier effect. In this paper, a novel FSPMM was proposed in order to utilize the vernier effect and achieve higher performance. The proposed machine was compared with the conventional FSPMM, and exhibited higher torque and lower torque ripple than the conventional machine. | - |
