This paper proposes a dual rotor dual excitation hybrid vernier machine for washing machine application. The proposed topology has two rotors and a sandwiched stator. In low speed (washing operation), vernier rotor rotates and provides high efficiency and high torque. Whereas, at high speed (drying operation), permanent magnet (PM) rotor rotates and provides high efficiency-
