dc.description.abstract | This paper proposes a dual-stator spoke-type variable flux vernier machine for variable speed application. The proposed machine uses spoke-type low coercive force magnets in the sandwiched rotor. The d-axis armature current is used to regulate the airgap flux density of LCF magnets and therefore realize variable speed operation. Moreover, the rotor structure has been modified to easily demagnetize the LCF magnets | - |
