松岡馨 著 『朝鮮語獨修』에 대하여

Abstract

본고는 1901년 일본에서 간행된 한국어 학습서 『朝鮮語獨修』의 제작 배경과 그 내용을 조사ㆍ분석하여 언어사의 입장에서 본 학습서가 가지는 가치를 생각해보고자 한 것이다. 조사의 결과, 본서는 1894년에 동일 저자에 의해 발간된 『朝鮮語學獨案內』를 제목을 바꿔 다시 발간한 학습서임을 확인할 수 있었다. 한국어 본문은 일본인에 의한 표기의 오류가 보이기는 하지만 한국어의 음운사적인 측면에서 귀중한 정보를 제공해 줄 수 있는 자료적인 가치가 있는 것으로 생각된다. 또한 본서의 일본어는 19세기말의 현실 일본어가 충실하게 반영되어 있으며 문법과 어휘사적인 측면에서 다양한 문제를 제기할 수 있는 자료로서 활용 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

The purpose of this study is to observe the content and background of the book Chosengodokusyu(朝鮮語獨修), which was published in Japan in 1901. This study considers the book to be valuable research material in regards to both the Korean and Japanese languages. As a result of a survey, this book was able to confirm the responsibility of the rewriting of the title of Chosengogakudokuannai(朝鮮語學獨案內), which was published by the same author in 1894. Additionally, although the Korean language text has errors in the Japanese notation, it seems to be significant in providing valuable information in terms of Korean phonological aspects. Finally, the Japanese in this book faithfully reflects the historical reality of the Japanese at the end of the 19th century and can be used as a resource to investigate the various problems faced in both the grammatical and lexicological aspects of the period.
