Abstract
Recently, the problem about environmental pollution and resource depletion has been increased in the construction industry. The enormous resources are consumed in the production activities and many construction waste in the new construction, demolition and recycling of the building has been generated. In this study, the purpose is to analyze the mineral’s creation of recycled cement as a part of development of recycled cement utilizing inorganic wastes in order to solve the problems of natural resource depletion and environmental impact. So, through the analyzing the chemical components of the construction waste combined based on the OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement). And the mineral composition component of clinker that is generated by the firing in 1450 (degrees Celsius) was analyzed performed using optical microscope and XRD (X-ray diffraction) analysis equipment. As a result, four major mineral of the cement have been confirmed and the development of recycled cement using an inorganic construction waste will be possible. © International Journal of Sustainable Building Technology and Urban Development.
