Abstract
The purpose of this study is to compare the factory manufacturing productivity of steel structure modular unit for getting 2 hours fire-proof performance. Through the analysis of the fire-proof method applied to the modular buildings, the fire-proof method for securing the fire-proof performance for 2 hours is derived, and the productivity of each method is analyzed by applying it to the case process of the previous research. As a result of this study, it was found that dry construction method is more advantageous than the wet construction method in terms of material cost, labor cost, working area, working time and the number of days required to produce one modular unit. It will be used as a basic data for the study of developing specialized modular construction fire-proof method instead of the existing fire-proof method.
