dc.description.abstractone of the most active research area in field of control is control of Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) because this system is multi-input multi-output, time variant, nonlinear and inherently unstable system. Controller design playes vital role in AMB systems so the controller should be stable and robust, on of the most robust controller for AMB systems is Sliding Mode Controller (SMC). This controller has heavy reliance on system dynamic. Fuzzy Logic can help SMC to eliminate this problem without any limitation. In this paper a Fuzzy Sliding Mode Controller (FSMC) is proposed which can be used for any AMB systems.-
