- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of multidimensional perfectionism of Taekwondo demonstration team members on achievement goal orientation and self-management. To attain the goal, the authors collected the questionnaires of 279 members who belong to eight Taekwondo demonstration team members in 8 universities. For data analysis, PASW/WIN ver 21.0 was utilized to perform frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The study has gained the following results: First, as the result of analyzing the effect of multidimensional perfectionism on achievement goal orientation, it was demonstrated that the factors of self-oriented perfectionism and socially prescribed perfectionism had an effect on a self-oriented factor. Besides, the factors of self-oriented perfectionism, other-directed perfectionism, and socially prescribed perfectionism had an effect on a task orientation factor. Second, as the result of analyzing the effect of multidimensional perfectionism on self-management, it was demonstrated that a self-oriented perfec- tionism factor had an effect on interpersonal management, physical management, training management, and mental management. And it was demonstrated that the factor of socially prescribed perfectionism had an effect on physical management and mental management. In addition to, the factor of other-directed perfectionism had an effect on mental management and interpersonal management.
