- Abstract
- Human have lived under the influence of organization to survive. From family as the first group, human history has composed with efforts to be included more powerful organizations. Human have composed various organizations under the names of family, ethnic and even educational background, the systemization of organization started to cause many social problems such as overusing, abusing and misusing of the organization’s power. In 2014, today such flows in Korean sport are very similar with these trends. Sport organizations in Korea with powerful influence exerted it to the members, exclude the others with any ways even illegal, and overuse or misuse it compare to the original ways and purposes. In fact, James Madison defined this social phenomenon with a word, ‘factionalism’ earlier. However, the ‘factionalism’ in sport rarely researched so far compare to the quality and quantity of the researches regards humanities. Therefore, the ‘factionalism’ of sport organization has caused so many serious social problems is another motivation of this research. This research analyzed the ‘factionalism’ in Korean sport with cases and theories, and proposed several suggestions to recover it.
