- Abstract
- In this paper, we analysis and compare three kinds of methods to make a radome with transmission filter characteristic in a planar rectangular grating. There are three methods which are rigorous coupled wave theory, CAD tool(CST-MWS) modeling and thin phase film approximation method. However, we are assuming on the grating height with binary index and dielectric structure above the normal incident wave. We study on the frequency-selective reflection and transmission in a planar rectangular similar to radome with analyzing and comparing results of three methods. As its results, all of methods indicate the same frequency as notch filters but the others of band is different. We propose fine points of each method such as performance, accuracy and simplicity. © Research India Publications.
