Abstract

This was written to give a somewhat different opinion from the claims that was described in the historical narratives about the control of the administration unit hoson in the Monggol area during the Ch’ing dynasty. The problem to be raised is about the opinion that Ch’ing chao was afraid of Monggol’s independence thus hošon’s organization was divided into small units. Also the example of the report that French missionary Joachim Bouver had sent to the French King, Louis XIV regarding the battle of the organization Ulan Butung about the measures and policy that Ch’ing chao took after the battle and also through the case of Galdan’s comeback, the opinion to be brought up is that Ch’ing’s victory was not as unilateral as it is generally recognized. Through these two case of examples, this was written to raise the issues that the existing general common view may somewhat have a problem.
