Many features and functions can ba found; At first, this text takes a look at characteristics of a negative sentence added a particles. As a result, a negative sentence added 「wa」includes a positive premise and also could be interpreted as a confrontational meaning of a surface meaning.
Moreover, a negative sentence with 「mo」 and 「sae」 is accompanied with a negative premise. It also means a surface mean and a point of the negative would be contrasted in a same level. The negative sentence is used to express regrets or disappointment not agreed with an expectation rather than expressing the surface mean.
Secondly, how characteristics of 「-siwasinai」 is related with a whole structure of Kawabata Yasunari’s novel, 「Amagasa」 by examining an expression 「-nurewasinaiga」. There would be some risk of this study without more organized study of the novel. However, this study could be meaningful examining a negative sentence to everyday life.
For a further study, a negative sentence, a negative vocabulary and a negative sentence in a literature would be examined with the more corporative perspective.
