Abstract
As China cannot accommodate the rapidly increasing energy consumption only with the existing fossil fuel and the percentage of green energy including renewable energy is insignificant, it is of great urgency to enhance the energy-saving and efficiency strategies. In addition, as the development of industrialization and urbanization accelerates, Chinese economy goes through the cycle of economic growth driven by heavy chemical industry. As the continuous development of the economy and society is expected in the future, demands for energy also will increase but the domestic energy supply is insufficient to accommodate the needs. As a result, the importance of energy efficiency and energy saving is being highlighted. Accordingly, the Chinese government has established energy-saving as one of the national policies in order to solve this problem of energy insufficiency. Aware of the situation, the Chinese government has set resource-saving and environmental protection as major national issues to be addressed, and established energy developing strategies focused on energy-saving. Thus, this study centers on introducing a solution to support urban infrastructure as well as 'smart buildings' and offices in line with the current 'smart' trend. Smart buildings seek economics, efficiency, pleasantness, functionality, reliability, and safety by systematically integrating the four major systems - architecture, communication, office automation, and building automation - to provide cutting-edge service functions. In addition, these multi-functional state-of-the-art artificial intelligence buildings integrate through one network energy economic management automation over temperature, humidity, lighting, power, safety and disaster management automation over automatic fire detecting devices and security guards, and office automation for the information communication and office efficiency and environment improvement. This study also includes the current condition of EMC company's projects and energy-saving policies of China based on the analysis of EMC(electromagnetic compatibility) technology and EMC market in China. Lastly, the case analysis and theoretical investigation on the smart building market condition will be followed with focused on commercial buildings in this country.
