- Abstract
- 현대사회의 급속한 발전과 산업경제가 다양화, 첨단화됨에 따라 재난의 양상은 대형, 장기화되는 추세이다. 재난의 양상에 따라 전문성을 갖춘 의용소방대의 역할은 중요하고 다양해지고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 재난업무를 수행하는 관설 소방조직은 업무 과중, 인력 부족, 전문성, 전문장비 조작능력 증대 등으로 의용소방대의 역할과 활동 범위가 전문역량 강화로 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 의용소방대의 문제점 파악하고 발전방안에 대해서 제시하고자 한다.
