Abstract
Chemocapacitive-type sensors have been known to be the one of the key candidates for the detection of various highly toxic and hazardous gases. In this study, we successfully demonstrate the use of CVD-grown graphene-based chemocapacitors with the selective receptor, 2-(4-aminophenyI)-1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propanol (HFIPA), for dimethyl methylphosphonate (DMMP) detection. This chemocapacitor allows us to study the effect of transferred graphene size on the degree of gas reactivity and recovery. This work should pave the way for new and effective detection of other gas molecules in various applications.
