- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to examine the background of the violations of human rights and autonomy, that occur in physical education colleges and to provide the basic data for the recovery of autonomy of future physical education college students. We had no subjective awareness of basic rights of the individual historically suffering from periods of Japanese rule, war and dictatorship. Especially coupled with social atmosphere through remnants of the colonial period, military culture of the military regime and hierarchy culture, violations of human rights have been carried out under the pretext of the tradition of Department. However, one is recently aware of the seriousness of the problem, while the students with the sensitive through the human rights education in middle and high school open violations of human rights through private SNS and various public media. To solve the problem, college authorities and students would find a compromise according to the rules and regulations of the Department, that all member of the university can accept reasonable, considering the characteristics of the athletic field, which requires ‘cooperation’ and ‘hierarchy’.
