- Abstract
- 사회복지계는 과학적 실천과정 적용ㆍ확대, 연구와 실천 사이의 간극 축소, 클라이언트 중심 실천 방식으로의 변화, 지역사회의 중요성 증대라는중대한 도전에 직면하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 환경적 요구에 대한 대응방안으로 새로운 사회복지실천 및 연구접근으로써 지역사회기반참여연구(CBPR)를 제시한다. 이를 위해 우선 CBPR의 개념, 발달과정, 특성, 원칙, 과정, 실천도구에 대해 소개하였다. 다음으로는 사회복지에서 CBPR이 갖는 의미로서 사회복지실천에서의 환경변화에 따른 새로운 실천 철학의 필요성 증대와 공통된 가치 및 이론체계(협력, 임파워먼트, 생태체계이론, 사회정의)를 중심으로 사회복지에서의 CBPR의 적용가능성을 논의하였다. 또한 현재까지 사회복지에서의 CBPR 활용 현황에 대해 검토하였다. 마지막으로 향후 사회복지계의 CBPR 적용 시 어려움과 유의점을 고찰하고, CBPR이 사회복지계에 주는 함의를 제시하였다
