Abstract

Through big data analysis, this research was conducted with the need and purpose of research to provide basic data to establish taekwondo competitiveness by learning about taekwondo image and culture. In, Taekwondo image, and cultural analysis through big data, First, Taekwondo image was divided into Taekwondo motherland, competitions, martial arts and others. Second, Taekwondo culture was divided into academic field, game, events / goods, and school. In Action Plan for Strengthening Taekwondo Competitiveness, First, while the image of Taekwondo motherland should be strengthened, the fact that Taekwondo is a representative sport of martial arts in the international sports world should be solidified. In addition, Taekwondo should play a role as a means to contribute to the peace between the two Koreas. Second, diversification of Taekwondo uniform should be promoted, and the development of Taekwondo goods industry should be promoted by developing, producing, and utilizing goods that can improve efficiency during Taekwondo training, practice, and competition.
