Abstract
The propulsion of South Korea’s Paperless Trade involves not noly KTNET but also KLNET. KTNET differs from KTNET. KTNET has been supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy for a long time.. But, KLNET has been under the influence of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. KLNET has been playing its role as an infrastructure that provides logistics services. Most of all, KLNET always carries out the implementation of e-Logistics in the field of sea-transportation. In the other hand, The implementation of paperless trade in Japan has been controled by NACCS since 1978. The original objective of NACCS was to improve port and air community as well as customs clearance. and NACCS provides a single interface between trading community and transport community. So, This article describes the current situation and characteristics of KLNET and NACCS. The principal focus of this article is to perform comparative analysis in terms of information sharing and connectivity between South Korea and Japan. As a result, NACCS is evaluated as having excellent logistics infrastructure by enabling sharing of information among governmental departments.
