- Abstract
- The coverage performance of the target user in dual connectivity-enabled heterogeneous networks is adversely affected depending upon the presence and distribution of wide-band jammers (WBJs). Thus, we deploy WBJs with uniform distribution using an independent homogeneous Poisson point process (IHPPP) and in clusters using the Matern cluster process (MCP). Results show that the coverage performance of the target user in the presence of IHPPP-distributed WBJs is larger than the MCP-distributed WBJs. Thus, to reduce the severity of jamming attacks, network designers should focus on the anti-jamming of clustered jammers relative to uniformly distributed jammers. © 2021 Elsevier GmbH
